Turner & Townsend hosted their first book club event at their Phoenix office, diving into three specific chapters of Build Her, Be Heard. It was an inspiring and insightful session where all participants were involved in conversation building activities specifically built from the book.

The Wounded Workforce also partnered with Build-Her.Org during this event to provide in depth knowledge and guidance on the importance of mental health in the construction industry.

WIW/CREW Retreat Day

Women in Water / Construction’s Resilient Empowered Women (WiW/CREW) Retreat Day held at the Always This Good Retreat Center in Phoenix, AZ. This custom retreat (organized by others) focused on strengthening personal friendships in the workplace and enhancing negotiation skills. The day included a ritual of gratitude for our female friendships, gentle yoga, meditation, chair massage, aromatherapy, group discussions and exercises, and a panel discussion from influential leaders in the industry.
