Highlights from Jessi’s Story:
Jessi shares “I was skipping class with my girlfriend who struck an arc, sparks flying, and I fell in love - with welding.” She shares that her life back in 2005 became significantly clearer from that day forward moving from a rebellious lost kid to a driven young woman.

Jessi was officially accepted into University of Minnesota, Carlson School of Management MBA program in 2020. She shares that as a teenager who thought she was too dumb to be more than a welder, was accepted into a prestigious post grad program.

In 2023 it was a huge year for Jessi, between graduating with her MBA and officially forming her Social Enterprise HIGHER HER, LLC for Pivot HIGHer. She also started her first six figure position as a Director for a multi-billion-dollar company focused on Sustainable Infrastructure. 

Next achievement in progress:
Jessi is currently publishing her first book to be released in October 2024 focused on her autobiography from Blue Collar Welder to White Collar MBA serving as a Director. The book uses Jessi’s story as a call to action for the Construction Industry and an inspiration for young girls and women to see a new career path.
